The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed lawsuits Tuesday against Beverly Hills-based Global Horizons Inc. and six farms in Hawaii and two in Washington. Pot Farms in UK Use Child Trafficking for Labor
By Dana Chivvis - AOL News(Aug. 17) -- Just in time for the season premiere of "Weeds," a report released today by the Association of Chief Police Officers in the U.K. shows the number of pot farms there has grown aggressively in recent years, the BBC reports. Between 2004 and 2007, British police discovered an average of 800 marijuana factories a year. Last year, that number was nearly 7,000. Officials seized 750,000 plants with an estimated value of 85 million pounds ($132.43 million,) according to the Daily Mail. Woman Sentenced for Forcing Immigrant to Work Without Pay

Russoniello announced Thursday. Real estate agent Mabelle de la Rosa Dann, 46, was found guilty last year of conspiring to smuggle the victim from Peru in 2006, bringing her to suburban Walnut Creek, Calif., and forcing her to cook, clean and provide child care for 21 months.
