The immigrants, all young men and mainly from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, arrived in Athens from the island of Crete late Monday, storming the capital's law school and settling in with blankets and sleeping bags. Fifty others launched similar protests in Thessaloniki in northern Greece, marking what supporters called the biggest hunger strike yet by immigrants in ...
(Nov. 30) -- You can get a ticket for not obeying the big red octagon, but if you're driving in Cranston, R.I., there's a chance the stop sign itself is breaking the law. "I can't talk about it, I just pray for him, that's all," she said, adding: "After the 4th, I can talk to anyone." Who told her she couldn't talk until after the ...
Is anyone really shocked at the speculation out tonight that it was Hillary Clinton that told Eliot Spitzer to kill his plan for drivers licenses for illegal aliens? What he was saying then was: "I am not willing to fight to the bitter end on something that will not ultimately be implemented, and we also have an enormous agenda on other issues of great importance to New York State that was being stymied by the constant and almost singular focus on this issue," he told the paper. ...
