Half of South Carolina Voters Say Mark Sanford Should Resign
By David Knowles - Politics DailyA new InsiderAdvantage poll finds that 49.5 percent of South Carolina's registered voters think it is time for their embattled governor, Mark Sanford, to resign. The poll showed 36.6 percent believe he should stay put. Republican support has eroded for Sanford since he revealed his protracted affair with an Argentine woman, and ethical questions have emerged about his taxpayer-funded travel.
