The cleanup of Viretta Park was organized by local resident Daniel Johnson in conjunction with Seattle City Parks, which donated tools, local TV station KOMO reported. The park has become a gathering spot for fans of the Nirvana frontman, who died in the nearby house in 1994. The rarely censored rock star is headed to trial after unleashing a storm of Twitter insults at fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir, who had requested payment from Love for some clothing.
