By Paul Wachter - AOL NewsRobert "Joe" Halderman, who is currently serving a six-month sentence for trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman, was nominated for an Emmy on Thursday, The New York Observer reports. Halderman, a former CBS producer, was nominated for his production work, along with three other producers, on the 48 Hours special "American Girl, Italian Nightmare," a documentary on Amanda Knox, the American student now serving a long jail sentence in Italy for murder.
