Niki Lamparelli, a high school varsity hockey goalie from Norwell, Mass., is the first girl ever to be named to her league's all-star team. A senior, 18-year-old Lamparelli is one of only three girls on Norwell High School's boy's hockey team. (June 29) -- Australia has launched a campaign to rid its catwalks and fashion magazines of ultrathin models. The skinny from Down Under is that the country's youth health minister, Kate Ellis, is urging the fashion industry to put healthier, fuller-bodied and more diverse women front and center.
