(Dec. 9) -- "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin is battling cancer but doing "OK," a relative told FOX 2 News in Detroit.
Although the type of cancer hasn't been officially confirmed, media reports say the 68-year-old diva has been diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. It's "one of the deadliest and most painful types of cancer," with 95 percent of patients dying within five years of diagnosis, according to a 2007 report in The New York Times.
