A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll confirms what other pulse trackers are finding of late: President Barack Obama's popularity is on the rise. In the latest poll, 53 percent of Americans say that they approve of the way the president is doing his job, 41 percent said they disapprove and 6 percent said they were not sure. Just one month ago, the same poll found that Obama's approval rating stood at 45 percent, while 48 percent of those surveyed said they disapproved of his job performance. (July 13) -- Nearly six in 10 American voters say they lack faith in President Barack Obama to make the right decisions for the country, according to a poll published today that reveals public confidence in Obama has hit an all-time low just four months before midterm elections.
