Groupon users are seeing red, and we're not talking about paper hearts. For Valentine's Day the online social saving site partnered with florist FTD to offer a deal that sounded great: get $40 worth of flowers for just $20, prepaid. The only problem was, when shoppers clicked through to the deal, they discovered that their Groupon prices were higher than the prices listed on FTD's regular site. (Dec. 1) -- If the office seemed a little slow on Monday, now you know why. Online shoppers spent $1.028 billion on Cyber Monday with half of all orders flowing in from work computers, according to the digital marketplace analysts comScore. It's Amazon vs. Colorado, bloggers vs. lawmakers, local retailers vs. behemoths and, of course, Democrats vs. Republicans. A week after Colorado enacted sales taxes for retailers with affiliates in the state, Amazon fired back Monday, eliminating thousands of "associates."
