LONDON (Dec. 13) -- Terry Jones, the firebrand Florida preacher who threatened to burn copies of the Koran on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, could be banned from visiting Britain. Jones has been invited to speak about the "evils of Islam" at an event run by the English Defense League (EDL) -- a far-right, anti-Islamic group headed by former soccer hooligans -- in the U.K. in February. (Dec. 27) - A pastor fatally shot one of his eight children on Christmas Day during a dispute at the family home, where more than a dozen relatives had gathered to celebrate the holiday, police said. Kirk Caldwell killed 21-year-old Jordan Caldwell after intervening in a violent confrontation between the son and a woman at around 2 p.m. at their home in suburban Philadelphia, Darby Borough police said Friday.
