By Emily Troutman - AOL NewsPORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (Aug. 18) -- Wyclef Jean says he has gone into hiding in Haiti because of death threats against him while he waits for the government to decide whether he'll be able to run for president in November. The Haitian electoral commission announced that it is still checking the eligibility of Jean and other potential candidates and won't make a decision until Friday. Barack Obama Will End Iraq War in 16 Months

Obama told a crowd in New Hamphire that he would "refocus the military on the fight with al-Qaeda and engage in diplomacy with enemies of the United States." according to the Union Leader newspaper.
