Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV), 91, has been taken to a Washington, D.C. hospital. His spokesperson said the cause was minor infection, and that Byrd's doctor admitted the Senator as a "precautionary measure" late Friday afternoon after he showed a "a spike in temperature."
