Canada Rocked by 5.5 Earthquake on Ontario-Quebec Border

This may not be exactly what Canadian separatists had in mind. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck near the Ontario-Quebec border at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday. The quake was centered 38 miles north of Ottawa and was felt in western New York as well as in portions of Vermont and New Jersey.
