Agathe von Trapp, 'Sound of Music' Family Member, Dead at 97
By Steven Hoffer - AOL NewsAgathe von Trapp, the oldest daughter of the real-life family that inspired the musical and film "The Sound of Music," has died at age 97. Longtime friend Mary Louise Kane said that von Trapp died Tuesday after suffering congestive heart failure last month. Kane and von Trapp lived together for 50 years in Glyndon, Md., where the two friends operated a kindergarten at the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish.
